Griffin's reaction to the Bury Your Gays thing was great (way better than other creators I know), but I didn't blame him for doing that tragic love story in the first place. Many characters died in that series, Sloane and Hurley were two of many, and at the same time there were other LGBT characters who lived, so ... I DO like the ending with them being dryads, though. And I have to say, for a bunch of (probably?) straight four guys, they managed to surprise me.

I also believe him that he never heard of it before (I heard about it pretty late as well and I'm LGBT and I've been part of many fandoms).
